The grapes from which this wine is produced come from the
vineyards situated in La Morra, or more precisely from the "cru"
Bricco Luciani in the Annunziata region.
This wine is matured in
small French casks for a year, then in 15Hl Slovenian oak casks for
two years, followed by one year of bottle ageing.
Garnet- red
colour with very deep, ruby- red reflections.
Highly scented,
persistent fragrance with fruity notes of prunes and cherries
followed by hints of vanilla.
Harmonic taste with an appealing,
slightly tannic sensation and a lingering aftertaste with a
liquorice finish.
Alcoholic strength: 14.00% Vol.
Total acidity: 5.5
Longevity: from 12 to 20
years, depending upon the vintage.
